NIGHTCLUB FIRE response/training in Bristol - 02 Academy - Avon Fire and Rescue

Avon Fire and Rescue Service crews from Temple, Bedminster, Kingswood and Southmead arrived to a nightclub fire (training) at the O2 Academy in Bristol. Crews responded to the nightclub fire training as if it were a real call. Training included the use of breathing apparatus, searching, and rescuing casualties from a blaze. Vehicle assets used in the training included: 4 appliances and 2 officer cars. Personnel Assets: 1 incident commander, 1 sector commander, 1 group manager, safety officer and approximately 20 firefighters were also involved.
