Model Railway Steam trains Clayton le Moors 1965 1800 to 2300

It is evening in Clayton le Moors, an imaginary station in North East Lancashire set in 1965. Freight trains, parcels, regular passenger trains and a Blackpool excursion pass through, most of them steam hauled. Typical steam locos from the 1960s include a Jubilee, Stanier class fives and 8Fs and smaller locos. The trains run to a timetable and are correctly (I hope!) signalled. I’m afraid I can’t explain why it is still light at nearly 11 o’clock in the evening – it must be mid summer in 1965. Hope you enjoy the show. Please let me know.
