Landing A220 300 ITA Airways a Fiumicino al ritorno da Malaga

Decollo da Malaga verso Almeria e Murcia, sorvolo delle Baleari fino alla Sardegna, arrivati vicino la costa l'aereo vira a sinistra per poi entrare nell'entroterra. In cabina di pilotaggio avevo notato la pista 16L per l'atterraggio, ma una ulteriore virata a destra ha diretto la prua verso la 16R. After taking off from Malaga and heading towards Almeria and Murcia, the flight passed over the Balearic Islands and on to Sardinia; upon reaching the coast, the aircraft banked left before turning inland. From the cockpit, I had initially spotted runway 16L for the landing, but a subsequent right turn aligned the nose with runway 16R. The Airbus A220 proved to be a comfortable and versatile aircraft that will enhance the flexibility of the ITA fleet, and its engines produce the characteristic "whale song" sound.
