CTGP v1.03.1192 Gold Stars

So for this update, some of the old tracks that was removed a while ago, returned to CTGP, hopefully to bring some of the ct boomers to come back to this pack. Also this is probably the hardest in terms of staff ghosts. Boshi is like "ight guys, yall can go all out and shit". The Great Apple War: nothing major except the minimap was rotated 90 degrees to the left. Expert is a second faster but still easy. (3/10) Rosalina's Snow World/3DS Rosalina's Ice World: This update removes the janky spiral cut near the beginning which is kinda a W and ig that's it. Expert is pretty well driven but you can catch near the end, especially at the last ramp where you can lower air by delay tricking. (8/10) Melting Magma Melee: Sooo the shroomless has returned after two years of it being removed. I think it is because this track's populaity dropped when the cut got removed, so hopefully this update increases the popularity. Pretty well driven ghost, but tons of mistakes coming from Nathan and using one wrong shroom spot to nerf the time. My time could've better but I lost tons of time on lap 2 but we movin. (8/10) Dark Matter Fortress: Only major update in the track update. Obviously the visual has changed a lot and the fence has been removed at the very beginning of the optimal shroom cut so that's cool. Expert is a second slower and easy. (3/10) Calidae Desert (replacing DS Cheep Cheep Beach): Cool for this track to return to this pack. Very funny track because of that 3 shroom cut at the end. My former pb was 2:50.6 before it got removed from CTGP sooo getting a 2:47.9 isn't terrible (still not a great time tho). Before I move on, expert staff ghost on returning tracks are done by bkt holders or someone with 2nd or 3rd ww so the difficulties will be like 7-10/10 hands down. ZachLink has driven this track pretty well but he missed two lows at the end of laps 1 and 2. (7/10) Cave Island (replacing DS Luigi Mansion): One of my least favorite tracks only because of that shroomless. It took me a long ass time to learn how to do that cut. Doge literally wii'd on JUST to set a hard ass time for everyone to beat. No wonder he's so good at this game cough cough scoring over 120 after a two year break cough COUGH. The ghost itself is an 8/10 but because this track has a lot of difficult strats, I'll raise it to a 9. (9/10) Dreamworld Cloudway (replacing SNES Rainbow Road): This doesn't even deserve to get removed in the first place, but Troy fans were sucking hard on Troy soooo yea. Hia drove this very well. His lap 1 was at ct tops level so I wasn't able to catch up with him at the beginning, but he nerfed on laps 2 and 3 by taking the og cut at the end of the lap so there is a lot of catch up potential but still a very difficult ghost. (9/10) Hellado Mountain (replacing Piranha Plant Pipeline): Eh I really don't have much to say, but hopefully Slick comes back to this pack (doubt it). Obviously this expert is pretty difficult but theres a lot of catch potential as Charlie didn't do a single chain wheelie sooo there you go. (8/10) Sinister Vault (replacing GCN Mushoom City): Basic Track I guess. This expert was at ct tops level so obviously this was very difficult to beat. Though it is a little easier to beat if you take left path all 3 laps. Still hard tho (9/10). Iron Whale (replacing Mario Castle Raceway): Decent track but shitty spiral. Decent tough expert but easily catch-up-able. (7/10) Emerald Coast (replacing GCN Luigi Circuit): Pretty fun track to play on personally but it's no doubt a running heavy track, so I'm interested to see how this plays online. This expert is very well driven as well as using Funky Kong + Flame Runner so expect this to be pretty difficult. Just pray for good half pipe tricks and you good.
