onde sthaladalli shilaayugada avasheshagalu..| Part 01 | stories of karnataka | Bellary Stone Age remains in one place... in Ballari! ....................................................................................... ಸಂಗನಕಲ್ಲು ಪುರಾತತ್ವ ವಸ್ತು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಾಲಯ – ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗುರುತುಗಳು ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯ ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ ಬ್ರೂಸ್ ಫೂಟ್ ಸಂಗನಕಲ್ಲು ಪುರಾತತ್ವ ವಸ್ತು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಳೆ ಶಿಲಾಯುಗ, ಮಧ್ಯ ಶಿಲಾಯುಗ ಮತ್ತು ನವ ಶಿಲಾಯುಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಅಪರೂಪದ ಪಳೆಯುಳಿಕೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸುಮಾರು 15 ತಲೆಬುರುಡೆಗಳಿವೆ. ಸುಮಾರು 32 ಲಕ್ಷ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಮಾನವ ಪೂರ್ವಜರ ತಲೆಬುರುಡೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿರೂಪವೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾ, ಇಂಡೋನೇಷ್ಯಾ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ ದೊರೆತ ಪಳೆಯುಳಿಕೆಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಸಂಗನಕಲ್ಲು, ಸಿರಿವಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಕಪ್ಪಗಲ್ಲು ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆತ ನವಶಿಲಾಯುಗದ ಪುರಾತತ್ವ ಅವಶೇಷಗಳೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. Sanganakallu Archaeological Museum – Traces of Human History The Robert Bruce Foote Sanganakallu Archaeological Museum in Ballari houses rare fossils and archaeological remains from the Palaeolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic periods, along with around 15 skull specimens. It also features a representation of a human ancestor dating back around 3.2 million years.
