NWRT 10/9/2026

It was a beautiful Fall morning for a recumbent trike ride on the NorthWest River Trail. The air temperature was 61° when we arrived at the Riverfront Park Access and 70° when we ended. We took a short break at the Shock's Mill Bridge and then headed north to the Conoy White Cliffs. The Susquehanna River is low, but rains are expected from the outer edge of Hurricane Isaias. After our ride, Zach and I ate lunch at McCleary's Pub in Marietta, Pa. We tried a new dish from their Menu... Calamari. It was very good and complimented our Garlic/Parmesan Wings. Our waitress was Maya. Zach and I would like to thank the people who picked up our tab today at McCleary's Pub. It was a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated by both of us!
