Is Revelation Risky

Is receiving revelation from God risky — or is the real danger found in the alternatives? This fourth video in THE QUEST for TRUTH exposes the myth that divine revelation is unsafe and reveals why depending on human reasoning, rationalism, or spiritual counterfeits is far more dangerous. Scripture teaches that the veil over the human mind is removed only when we turn to Christ. Revelation becomes risky only when we mix it with assumptions, doubt, pride, or the influence of ungodly counselors. But when we seek God’s presence, desire His will, remain teachable, and stay humble, revelation becomes the safest and most reliable path to truth. In this video, you’ll discover: • How to receive revelation safely by staying in God’s presence • Why humility, teachability, and correction protect you from deception • Why rationalism and human intellect are far riskier than revelation • How the veil of the flesh blinds even religious people • Why interpretation often adds human ideas to Scripture • How assumptions, doubt, and double mindedness corrupt revelation • Why all wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ alone • How God confirms revelation through witnesses and the Body of Christ • Why revelation is always “in part” and requires ongoing dependence on Christ • How God’s long-term plan includes your maturity and the restoration of all things Revelation is not the problem — discernment is. The danger lies not in hearing God, but in mixing His voice with human reasoning or demonic influence. When you seek Christ sincerely, ask for wisdom without doubting, and remain open to correction, He promises to guide you safely into truth. This is Part 4 of THE QUEST for TRUTH, a series exploring Reason, Christ, and Transformation — and how divine revelation leads to maturity, clarity, and alignment with God’s eternal purpose. 00:00 Is Revelation Risky? 00:20 How to Receive Revelation Safely 01:46 Alternatives to Divine Revelation 04:55 Staying in God’s Presence 06:16 Asking For Wisdom Without Doubt or Double Mind 09:07 Two or Three Witnesses 09:30 Humility and Teachability 10:03 God’s Big Picture: Your Complete Transformation 12:30 Restoration of All Things, New Heavens, New Earth, and the Sons of God 12:22 Thank You and Next Steps
