Geoffrey Bay Rock Wallaby Walk
We spend a week on holidays at Magnetic Island. There are Colonies of rock wallabies living throughout magnetic island. They like to live in Rocky areas. One of the tourist destinations on Magnetic Island is the rock wallaby walk at Geoffrey Bay. The rock formation is fantastic.
Feeding the wild baby fish is easy here, you can also snorkel around the peninsula where the rock wallabies live.
We spent a few hours watching the beautiful rock Wallabies feeding and looking after their babies.
There is a sign above the bus shelter that lets you know what you are allowed to feed the Wallabies so that they don’t get sick. It also tells you what not to feed them. It is best to give the Wallabies only what they can eat, so not to make them sick. It is a big problem. That some people have taking no notice, and the animals get sick and die. Please respect the beauty of the place so, they can be there for future generations.
Nelly Bay is another place where we watched the Rock Wallabies.
You may like to see the movie that we made on Nelly Bay.
We are staying on Magnetic Island for a week, so there is more fun movies to see.
