Fallout 4 Survival Mode No-Heal / YOLO Challenge next-gen run continues! Balancing a sub-25% Unyielding health bar with ballistic weave armor mods, tactical stealth routing, and a brand new god-roll staggering weapon. Welcome to Episode 31 of my next-gen Fallout 4 You Only Live Once (YOLO) challenge. Inspired by creators like MATN, Vrexia, and Super Twonky who popularized this permadeath ruleset, we are trying something different for our setup. Instead of a pre-planned run where everything is mapped out in advance, we are grinding, learning the hard lessons live, and embracing the true chaos of the wasteland. It isn't a final full run until it is - and until then, we reset and push the pace. WE SURVIVED THE ABSOLUTE GAUNTLET OF THE WASTELAND! Yesterday's stream was one of the most heart-attack-inducing sessions of the entire run. We successfully cleared the Glowing Sea hitless in a 0-DR Hazmat suit, but the universe balanced things out when we tried to take a Vertibird from Sanctuary to the Castle. A raider in Lexington shot - not one but TWO Mini-Nukes directly at our vertibird, forcing a panic landing at CIT. After that close call, we successfully infiltrated Greentech Genetics and used Mama Murphy's factory reset code to shut down the Courser without firing a single shot (sorry no sarcastic pizza delivery line this time). After that we scored a legendary god-roll Staggering Sniper Rifle ("Kiss of Death") at the library while getting the Intelligence Bobblehead (and farming Legendries). Now our health pool is sitting tight at 71 HP, keeping our +3 Unyielding SPECIAL stat boost locked in! TODAY WE UNLOCK THE GATEWAY TO THE INSTITUTE. The Courser chip has been successfully decoded by Tinker Tom at Railroad HQ. Now, we have to decide which base to wire up the molecular relay. Pushing into the late-game means no room for sloppy mistakes. Now it's time to prepare a safer flight path for our return trek to Virgil's cave.
