Inside an AH-64 Apache at 15ft | Chasing a Chinook

This is what it looks like to fly low level alongside AH-64E Apache gunships from the back of a CH-47 Chinook. During my time embedded with the South Carolina Army National Guard, I joined a Chinook crew for a low-level flight with AH-64E Apaches flying alongside us. From the open rear ramp of the CH-47, we flew through South Carolina with the Apaches manoeuvring around us — giving us an incredible view of the aircraft in flight. We also captured the formation from the Apache itself, giving you both sides of the flight.
