That's how long the fresh September energy lasted. 🫠 If you were here for the August closeout, you watched me count up every red number in my budget and then promise — out loud, on camera, to actual human beings — that September was going to be different. Well, it's the 10th, my first paycheck just landed, and I have LOTS of overspent categories waiting for me. Plural. Lots. It's not great. So this video is me sitting down with that first paycheck and doing the unglamorous part: covering the overspending first, then funding the rest of the month with whatever's left. Not the fun version of budgeting where you fill up every category and feel powerful. The version where you pay for your choices and then figure out how to eat for three weeks.
