About: Where were you in 1984 when Van Halen released 1984? This haunting overture plays at the onset of the album and just ahead of the song “Jump,” and it still gives me chills every time I hear it. Eddie Van Halen’s accidental brilliance, born from a bit of studio experimentation, turned into one of rock’s most iconic intros. Now, I’m thrilled to bring that same magic to life on the Nord Stage 4. I’ve recreated the original “1984” intro sound using three layers — a pulsing bass, ethereal high strings, and that signature gurgly synth ending — all designed to capture the feel of the original recording. If you’re part of my Patreon community or enrolled in Master the Nord Stage 3 or 4, you can download the full sound from the bonus section today. And if you’re not a member yet, I’ve made it available for a one-time grab on Patreon — (link above).
