[MKDS] Yessir, THIS is Mario Circuit 1!

Well, that was definitely an interesting journey. Throughout the end of 2023, I was casually grinding the 3lap of this track and realized that I was actually kind of good at it. So after setting the Italian Record for the 3lap, I started grinding for the flap and this is what it lead to. This track, especially the flap category of it, is very dear to me. The very first God time I set was here back in 2020, a 0:13:205, funnily tied with my Cucumber BKT now. A year later it became not only my first serious Italian Record but also my very first Top 10, thanks to a much better 0:12:901. In 2022, when I was grinding to get Player of the Year, I considered this flap for my 2 World Records, because I thought sub would look cool. Utter sadly beat me to it, but that doesn't mean two sub 12.800 won't look cool. To me, they definitely do! I took the occasion to remake one of my favorite MKDS videos, MKDasher's "Yeah sir, THIS is Mario Circuit 1!". You can find the original video here:    • [MKDS] Yeah sir, THIS is Mario Circuit 1!   Ironically, my NonPRB Standard RB actually beats MKDasher's PRB lap! About the video, I remade it with my own style, in NonPRB, and without forgetting to add the Kart 3lap BKT at the end, exactly like in the original. The major and only change was making the compilation a flap one, and not a lap 1 shroomer. Though, in all honesty, I think that choice was originally made only because keeping PRB in lap 2 for such trivial kart would have felt over the top. In NonPRB this is different, so I think I've made the choice that made the most sense. I am really satisfied with the final product, I hope you enjoy it! This World Record is dedicated to Quantum. Thank you for being one of the best rivals I could ever ask for! It's especially thanks to you if I was able to reach such heights in this fantastic game! ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Former WR Stats: ➣ Player: Matt "Utterrandomness" Utter ➣ Time: 0:12:799 ➣ Set on: 2022-03-21 ➣ Video:    • [WR] HD: Snes Mario Circuit 1 Non PRB: 12"799   ➣ Lasted: 691 days ➣ Timecut: -0:00:013 ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Music 1: ➣ Title: Immortal saga - Again ➣ Artist: Noah ➣ Album: Revolt from the abyss Music 2: ➣ Title: over the top ➣ Artist: xi ➣ Album: World Fragments / xi ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Links: ➣ SNES Mario Circuit 1 NonPRB Flap charts: https://www.mariokart64.com/mkds/coursen.p... ➣ Kart BKT Sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1em... ➣ Mario Kart DS Network: https://discord.gg/pa9bea6 ➣ My Mario Kart DS Players' Page: https://www.mariokart64.com/mkds/profile.p... ➣ My mkwrs.com Profile: https://mkwrs.com/mkds/profile.php?player=... ➣ My Speedrun.com: https://www.speedrun.com/user/Pikalex04 ➣ My Cyberscore: https://cyberscore.me.uk/user/34684 ➣ How to record Mario Kart DS in High Quality:    • How to record Mario Kart DS in High Quality   ➣ How to Get Good at Mario Kart DS - From Snail to Snake #1:    • How to Get Good at Mario Kart DS - From Sn...   ➣ How to Get Good at Mario Kart DS - From Snail to Snake #2:    • How to Get Good at Mario Kart DS - From Sn...   ➣ MKDS 2021: The Story of MKDasher - A Mario Kart Documentary:    • MKDS 2021: The Story of MKDasher - A Mario...   ➣ Mario Kart DS: Memories of 2022:    • Mario Kart DS: Memories of 2022 (Official ...   ➣ My X: https://x.com/pikalex04 ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ #MarioKartDS #MarioKart #マリオカート
