Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons & St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders; Girls Basketball 6A State Championship

The Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons have advanced to their first-ever championship game and are looking to avenge the loss two years ago in the Final Four. Led by Wisconsin signee DYanis Jimenez, the Tarpons have a shot at making history and winning Charlotte County's first-ever girls basketball state championship. Standing in their way, however, are the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders, who rallied from 11 points down to win the Final Four matchup two years ago and claim the school's first state title. Now, the Raiders are looking to make it three straight state championships and are led by East Carolina signee Karina Gordon. It's sure to be an exciting matchup between two teams hungry for a championship title.
