Great Site Tour 28 40 Fort Yargo State Park

A detailed site tour at Fort Yargo State Park in Winder, Georgia. I let you know where it looks like it puddles with water after rains and how the sites slope, as best I can. I would love to hear your thoughts on this type of review, let me know what I can do differently that would help you choose a site better at a campground you are going to visit. This campground is about 20-30 minutes from Athens which makes it a great place to stay if you are going to go to a UGA game. In campground 2 there were about 6 sites that were all together and decorated in Dawgs gear. Come a few days early or stay a little longer (avoid that dump station crowd on Sundays) to enjoy the mountain bike & hiking trails, the newly renovated beach and picnic area, the 260 acre lake in a canoe, kayak or your own 10hp fishing boat. Play a little pickleball, miniature golf or disc golf. Tent camping sites are walk in as well as the yurts. I believe every campsite is 30amp hookups.
