Carving the Hawaiian Eye tiki (and giveaway!) - A Moment of Tiki Episode 62

There aren't enough free-standing tikis in the Lagoon of Mystery, so in this episode I demonstrate how I went about power carving a new tiki in the style of the logo/mascot from the Hawaiian Eye TV series. If you're not familiar with it, Hawaiian Eye was a detective series set in Honolulu that ran from 1959-1963, capitalizing on the excitement generated by Hawaii statehood. It's a distinctive tiki design that offers technical challenges that's I've never attempted before. And because I like you folks so much, I've put together a short Hawaiian Eye playlist featuring a few highlights from the series:    • Hawaiian Eye   But wait! In addition to the large Hawaiian Eye-style tiki, this episode I also demonstrate how I power carve wooden Hawaiian Eye-style tiki ornaments for the season.
