Si conosce davvero poco sul calamaro gigante e forse è proprio questo a renderlo uno degli animali più misteriosi e con più AURA del pianeta.
Dal nome strano e molto patriottico, Architeuthis dux è un enorme mollusco cefalopode che vive negli abissi. Nonostante le sue dimensioni, gli avvistamenti di esemplari vivi nel loro ambiente naturale sono ancora pochissimi e questo ci ha permesso di conoscere solo una piccola parte della sua biologia, ecologia e sviluppo.
E forse è proprio qui che sta la sua AURA: un animale reale, enorme e affascinante, che vive a centinaia di metri sotto la superficie e che, ogni volta che si mostra, sembra quasi uscito da una leggenda.
Quei pochi avvistamenti diventano così momenti incredibili, affascinanti e anche un po’ inquietanti, perché ci ricordano quanto poco conosciamo ancora degli abissi.
