MUSTANG’s FIRST TIME TYING + PREPERATION

Mustang Cipher got to tie for the first time today! I was waiting to do this until the ground wasn’t so flooded (in case he did react there was a smaller chance of him slipping) and until I had the tie ring I wanted to use. I will never hard tie them the first time, I wouldn’t want them to injure themselves feeling trapped. This is why a blocker tie ring works so well, because it has some give when they pull so that they don’t feel trapped and if they pull enough it will slide through. I’ve never tried the tie rings with the magnetic part and I think it would be better if it didn’t come off so easily, so I’m not sure how I’ll work with that in the future having it offer some more resistance before falling. All in all I’m very happy with his first experience tying, even if it was short and sweet. I’m excited for more milestones coming soon now that he’s becoming a more civilized member of society 🤗 #horse #mustang #blm #horsetraining #horses #trend #horsetrainer #lol #wildhorse #equestrian
