Scuba Diving with Sealife of the Galapagos Islands 🐢 4K

I started scuba diving on the Tiburon Explorer Liveaboard which was incredible! This vessel is straight luxury and took us to the far off sites of Wolf and Darwin Island, where you see schools of hundreds of sharks. We also had 4 whale shark sitings - about 95% of those seen at this time of year are pregnant and massive at over 40' long! Being a protected marine park, the waters are thriving and full of life. You'll have constant turtle sightings and 100s of species of fish plus so much more 💙 Not to mention the birding and land tortoises! Galapagos is a naturists' dream. In 5 days of diving on this 7 night trip at sea, we went to the following dive sites: Mosquera, Baltra Island - starfish garden, eels, white tip reef sharks Wolf Island - huge schools of sharks and whale sharks, turtles galore Darwin Island - huge schools of sharks and whale sharks Punta Vincente, Isabela Island - colder water where you can see mola molas, mantas, leopard sharks, and sea lions Cabo Douglas, Fernandina Island - shallow dive known for the marine iguanas and sea lion colony Cousins Rock, Santiago Island - so many schools of fish here! After this trip was completed and we docked back in Santa Cruz, I spent 2 more weeks exploring the islands by foot, visiting: Gordon Rocks - great dive site about an hour offshore where we saw hammerheads, mantas, turtles Conch y Perla, Isabela Island - great little public snorkeling spot home to eagle rays, sea lions, turtles, marine iguanas and fish Los Tuneles - great day tour through the lava tunnels finishing with a shallow snorkel with massive sea turtles, eagle rays, white tip reef sharks, seahorse, and fish If you're interested in planning a trip to the Galapagos, I'd be thrilled to help!
