Developmental Psychology Part 1: Biological Development

Hey students! I hope you are all having a great day today. My name is Torres and I want to take a moment to thank you for joining me for a little Psych 101. This is the first part of a three part video series on developmental psychology. In this video we will learn about developmental psychology with an emphasis of the role of biology in developmental psychology. This series has three overarching ideas: 1. Lifespan development explores how humans change, grow, and remain the same from conception to death. 2. Human development can be studied scientifically across three domains: physical cognitive development, and psychosocial development. 3. Different theories focus on the processes, patterns, generalizability, biological influences, and environmental influences on human development.
