LANTERNS Episode 1 reaction and first time watching! Today I’m jumping into Season 1, Episode 1, “Pilot,” and experiencing HBO’s new DCU series with almost ZERO Green Lantern knowledge. 😂 My previous Green Lantern expertise basically consists of seeing the Ryan Reynolds movie many years ago and remembering: 💍 There’s a ring. 🟢 The ring makes someone a Green Lantern. ✨ The ring gives them powers. 🤷‍♀️ ...and that is pretty much where my expertise ends. So I’m not approaching Lanterns as a DC lore expert or comic-book encyclopedia. I’m experiencing this story as a regular viewer—reacting to everything as it happens, figuring out this version of the DCU, making theories, asking way too many questions, and probably being confidently wrong at least a few times along the way.
