In this first long-format episode from the Midwest Ghost Project, our team spends an evening inside Lafayette Row in Saint Joseph, Missouri. And though this quaint block never made the history books, it clearly isn't finished telling the story of its past inhabitants. For decades, these buildings have housed everything from pharmacies and corner markets to repair shops and family businesses. Its subtle story was written one ordinary day at a time, in a myriad of small moments overshadowed by the quick growth of a frontier boomtown. But that's not to say the building was empty when we arrived.
