It is recommended to watch the whole video once, before starting to work on your project. Like this you can see all steps in sequence and also all the tips I mention for each part, so that you know what is coming next. WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE: While intarsia is usually knitted flat, there are several ways to integrate it into a circular environment. One needs to be working in rows back and forth to reach each needed colour again from the other direction, so even if the result is visually a tube, this intarsia-in-the-round method continues to actually be worked flat on RS and WS. What makes it different is, that the beginning and end of each row is joined in the round as worked and no seam is needed to be worked later. Without this interconnection of each row there would be holes forming at the side we turn each time. There are different methods to achieve this, but I chose to showcase the Yarn Over Method, since I find that it yields a softer and more elastic "fake seam" at the interconnection and the result is quite invisible and perfect for the sleeves of this project. Finally I would recommend use SHORT CIRCULARS TO work the sleeves and to avoid working this method with magic loop. The extra bit of cable that is sticking out when using magic loop would definitely get entangled with your different yarn skeins and it might ruin the whole experience.
