Two Russian men secretly working for Ukraine’s intelligence services give rare accounts of operations they claim to have been involved with, to target military assets and personnel inside Russia. Click here to subscribe to our channel 👉🏽 https://bbc.in/3VyyriM Ivan - not his real name - spent two years texting with and meeting Polish journalist Marcin Mamon. He describes himself as a Russian patriot but wants to bring down Putin’s government, and says that helping Ukraine win the war could achieve that aim. Ivan shares the spycraft behind Ukrainian attacks with drones on strategic bombers, and munitions factories, in Russia, and sends Mamon videos of his activities from inside the country. Over two years, Mamon establishes that Ivan is working for Ukraine - but can he be trusted? Mamon is taken into the shadow war between Ukrainian and Russian intelligence services, a world of agents and double agents, where the lines between being a patriot and traitor blur. 00:00 Shadowmen: Russians working with Ukraine 02:21 Ivan: a secret agent? 04:30 How polish journalist Marcin Mamon met Ivan 07:21 'My Russian son is fighting for Ukraine' 09:32 The Warsaw cell 10:32 Foma’s network 15:42 Sent to Astana, Kazakhstan 19:17 Recruiting Russians to fight with Ukraine 35:34 Foma’s latest intelligence 28:06 Ivan disappears 30:11 Drone attack 30:40 Ivan sends a Christmas message 34:38 Providing intelligence 36:15 Operation Spider Web 39:04 Behind the Front Line in Ukraine 41:05 Marcin meets White Rex 43:43 Mortar Man 45:42 Crossing the border 48:03 Doubts 52:46 Who is Ivan’s handler? 🎧 Listen to The Documentary podcast, Shadowmen: Russians working with Ukraine: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0p... 📽️ Watch more investigative documentaries from our award-winning BBC Eye investigations team at this playlist:    • BBC Eye Documentaries   🎞 You may also be interested in watching these documentaries:    • Inside Russian-Run Prisons in Occupied Ukr...      • Into the Void: Putin's Foreign Fighters - ...      • Inside Russia’s new pro-Kremlin vigilantes...      • Did Georgian police use a chemical weapon ...      • Meow Meow: Inside Russia's Mephedrone Teen...   ---------------- This is the official BBC World Service YouTube channel.
