Creating jewelry components at a miniature scale is a unique challenge, so I am putting these tiny resin chain molds to the test. Testing out new silicone molds for miniature projects can be hit or miss. I wanted to see if these specific molds could actually produce usable, sturdy resin jewelry decorations without breaking during the demolding process. I walk through the entire setup, from dusting with mica powders and Let's Resin Metalic Powders, getting the pour, just right. Dealing with overpour to eventually getting to a stage what I happy with, so I could carefully removing the delicate links.
