IS THERE ROOM FOR AI IN ART??

I don’t know the answer to this yet. AI has become genuinely useful to me, but I keep coming back to this question: At what point does having AI solve the problem start removing something valuable from the process of solving it yourself? Because sometimes I want to burn the calories. I want to stare at something that isn’t working. Try the wrong idea. Change my mind. Try again. Eventually stumble into something that actually feels like mine. At the same time, there are plenty of things I have absolutely no problem letting AI make easier. So I’m throwing this one out to you guys. How are you using AI in your creative work? What has actually made your process better? And what do you deliberately refuse to let it do?
