Serrano vs. Manzur: 12-Round War Breakdown! Just How Exciting Was This Fight?

One judge watched all twelve rounds and turned in a 114-114 card. And per Sky Sports, the fighter who landed at the higher rate that night — 34% to 25% — is the one who lost. On August 21, 2026, at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California, Amanda Serrano beat Lucrecia Anabella Manzur by majority decision to keep her WBA, WBO and Ring Magazine featherweight titles and collect the 50th win of her career. Manzur came in 14-4 with 7 knockouts, on a five-fight winning streak, and had never fought outside Argentina in her life. She swept rounds two, four and five on all three judges' cards, and opened a cut on Serrano's forehead in the fourth. This is the full breakdown of how a 37-year-old seven-division world champion needed all twelve rounds to get past a fighter almost nobody outside Argentina had heard of — and why she walked out without knockout number 33.
