Backwash vs Rinse (Stop Making This Mistake) - The Aussie Way

Skip the rinse after a backwash and the dirt you just flushed out can blow straight back into your pool. Backwash and rinse are two different jobs. Backwash reverses the flow and lifts the dirt out of your filter to waste. Rinse runs the flow the normal way, still to waste, so the dirty water left in the tank and pipes goes down the waste line instead of out your return.
