DAY6 (Even of Day) FOUND THE LIGHT IN HEARTBREAK ON RIGHT THROUGH ME | Reaction

Heartbreak doesn’t always arrive quietly. DAY6 (Even of Day)’s Right Through Me puts difficult emotions inside bright melodies, driving rhythms, and choruses built to fill a room. This was a community-requested album, and we’re sitting down with all seven tracks to explore what Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon bring to this project together. Right Through Me combines a nostalgic feel with an expansive band sound. Electric guitar, prominent keyboards, and layered vocals give the songs plenty of movement without taking attention away from the emotions behind them. “WE” opens with an uplifting atmosphere before the title track brings together sentimental melodies, a steady groove, and the pain of feeling unwanted. “WALK” adds an anthemic push forward, pairing its synth-driven arrangement with encouragement to keep moving rather than stay trapped in the past. “all the things you wanted” leans into a softer, ballad-like side, with the vocal interplay carrying its emotional weight. “from the ending of a tragedy” brings heavier guitars and a more dramatic delivery, while “Home Alone” shifts toward bright synth-rock and rebuilding confidence after a breakup. “LOVE PARADE” closes with a celebratory sound and a message about sharing love. Across the project, sadness and optimism sit close together. The music leaves room for hurt without making it the only feeling in the room.
