VDrift - 2026 F1 race with the 2026 RedBull RB22 and the 2026 Mercedes W17 at Monza

i import a lot of cars in vdrift including f1, but i avoided 2022-2025 regulations as it was hardly compatible with vdrift, luckily the 2026 f1 chassis are more compatible to vdrift so i wanted to have a try, honestly it is quite good, i created a boost with the NOS (which is the overtake mode battery boost with those 2026 f1 cars) and it"s quite realistic so i'm happy... for the race it was close with the redbull but then i got spun out, then i was just thinking to bring it home until the unbelievable happened, the rb22 made a mistake and went into the wall (because with those 2026 f1 engines now the torque is about 200Nm stronger than before and it makes the car very unstable under acceleration especially with the boost combined with all the power of the engine) and so i had a chance for the win in the final half of lap, i went within 1s behind the redbull which is the rule to have the overtake mode (if you are over a second behind the car in front you are not allowed to use the battery boost) and on the finish line i went pass the redbull (that was unexpected to be honest that situation in the final lap lole) but i've got the best car, the mercedes w17 have the strongest engine and strongest chassis (even though it is close in the chassis side with also redbull and ferrari) but the engine part is stronger on the mercedes, better peak power, better power stability and power consistency than all the other engines on the grid. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mercedes W17 (2026) Car Specs Top Speed: 326 km/h (with overtake mode battery boost) 305 without Drivetrain: RWD Displacement: 1600cm3 Power: 1030 Hp Torque: 883 Nm rpm-Limit: 13 600 rpm Weight: 768 kg Power To Weight: 0.7 kg/Hp RedBull RB22 (2026) Car Specs Top Speed: 323 km/h (with overtake mode battery boost) 302 without Drivetrain: RWD Displacement: 1600cm3 Power: 1015 Hp Torque: 870 Nm rpm-Limit: 13 800 rpm Weight: 768 kg Power To Weight: 0.8 kg/Hp
