palefase - Madeleine

Madeleine is a song about remembering, or maybe misremembering. I’ve always been fascinated by how a sight, sound or smell can trigger a wave of nostalgia …or a tinge of regret. This song sits in those feelings for a while and tries to unpack them. Madeleine was written very quickly with my friend Max and recorded using a homemade rubber bridge baritone guitar that I recently modified from my cheap very first electric guitar.
