F. Chopin: Piano Concerto No.1 in e minor- Allegro Maestoso

Raffaello as 2025 Cantabile First Laureate in Category B, performed Chopin’s first piano concerto under the baton of Wouter Lenaerts, with Limburgs Orkest Jeugd in prestigious Blauwezaal, DeSingel Antwerp, on 28th March 2026. Many thanks to Cantabile for this precious opportunity, and special thanks to Prof. Sergei Redkin and Prof. Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden for instructions. Thanks to Conductor Wouter Lenaerts for this second time working with Limburgs Orkest Jeugd. Big hugs to Jan Lust and the whole Cantabile team, the Limburgs Orkest Jeugd team, and DeSingel team. Last but not the least, big thanks to Conductor Marios Papadopoulos (Oxford Philharmonic), Raffaello learned some very important principles about piano performance and performance in a big concert hall directly and happily in Marios’ studio in London, while he brought this Chopin concerto and Beethoven’s first concerto to Marios in December 2025. Raffaello will perform the second movement ‘Romance’ as piano solo in July for Midi-minimes Festival Brussels. He is looking forward to perform the whole.
