Low end RADio 009: Vix

We're super honored to have the incredibly lovely Vix on this episode. Having performed at one of Low End's earlier shows, Vix holds pride in her ability to move comfortably across genres. Her bubbliness shines through this predominantly bouncy and buoyant footwork mix, balanced by heavy, bassy downbeats, fluttery percs, and quality wubs sprinkled throughout. Considered a DJ's favorite DJ, her authenticity and creativity are the reason we can't get enough of her mixes, online and IRL, as she views her music as an extension of herself. As a melophile committed to evolving through diverse sonic perspectives, her selection spans techno, house, bass, breaks, electro, and deconstructed club, always grounded to the mood of the floor. Proven to be well-rounded behind the decks, she has opened for bass-forward selectors such as BADSISTA, Jensen Interceptor, and Manao, as well as house-adjacent orchestrators like Mogwaa, Mayurashka, and Kikiorix. Her terpsichorean nature means the dance floor comes first - she perceives music and dancing as an enlightening and fulfilling anthropological exchange of energy and communion.
