This was our first ever reaction to Akuma Dollz's "Saint of Suffering," and we were not prepared for what hit us. From the opening seconds, this thing was loud, aggressive, in-your-face, and completely committed to its horror aesthetic. What really stood out to us was how unapologetic the band is. They fully embrace the gothic horror-metal vibe, combining crushing instrumentals, theatrical visuals, and relentless energy into something that's impossible to ignore. It feels like stepping into a horror movie that just happens to have an incredible metal soundtrack. Despite all the chaos, there was a ton of musicianship on display. Beneath the madness are some seriously talented performers who know exactly how to create an atmosphere and keep your attention from start to finish. This was one of the wildest first impressions we've had in a while, and honestly... we loved it. It was chaotic, theatrical, heavy as hell, and unlike anything else we've reacted to recently.
