Laura Ashley Guide to Country Decorating | Cottagecore home

A dive through Laura Ashley Guide to Country Decorating, published in 1992. This book is a glorious ode to country house style, from Sweden, to Provence, English cottages and Santa Fe. The book will have all home decor enthusiasts, dreaming of decorating their house with a country look. There's flower arranging ideas, patchwork projects and painting techniques to whet your whistle. Less of a manual and more of a book to inspire, using plenty of iconic Laura Ashley fabrics and wallpapers we came came to know and love from the brand. Laura Ashley has been a huge influence on my own aesthetic as a designer, and this is a book I frequently return to. This video is part of series I'm sharing of books that inspire my own work as a fabric and wallpaper designer.
