Oki Scoop. Scooped Surface Exercise in Solidworks

This is my first proper modelling video in quite a while! I briefly go over my plans in the video. The subject is what I remember of an old project from over 20 years ago... The top of an Oki printer concept. I've explored some different ways of resolving the aperture of the scoop, some more successful than others with some form trade-offs along the way. Using standard Solidworks surface tools; boundary surface, loft, style spline etc. All of the files are available for download via the link below.
