Vocal Coach Reacting to and analysing annapantsu singing Prince Ali (Aladdin) Prince Ali is a FAB song and there's so much room for character - clearly I am here for it! What a wonderful Aladding cover! I just wanted to highlight what Anna wrote in her description about the chosen song. This is an incredibly high version of the song, so if you are someone who wants to imitate the sound and have a go, please make sure you are using your voice safely!! We can reach these notes without pain when approached correctly. The technique we are hearing here is so fabulous but if we are to sing this song a few times a week, I would want to ensure that those top notes as beautifully balanced in our mix so we have complete control. ALSO! High notes aren't everything! We all have parts of our voice that shine! Somewhere along the line we associated high notes with talent, and I just want to make clear that this is note the case. Focus on what you do best and where you shine as that make you uniquely YOU! And that's pretty amazing! Sing safe!
