Panel Discussion "The Significance of Jewish Museums in Contemporary Europe"

In 2026, we are celebrating the 120th anniversary of our museum's founding. The celebrations were launched on January 22 at the Maisel Synagogue with a panel discussion titled 'The Significance of Jewish Museums in Contemporary Europe.' The panel featured Pavla Niklová, Director of the Jewish Museum in Prague; Barbara Staudinger, Director of the Jewish Museum Vienna; and Joanna Fikus, Head of the Exhibition Department at POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews. The discussion was moderated by historian Michal Frankl.
