North Grand Mall (Ames, IA) - lively mall with some retro 1970s areas

In this video we visit the healthy North Grand Mall in Ames, IA. North Grand is an old mall that is mostly remodeled, but it still has some old 1970s brick to give it character. I filmed on a Friday afternoon and Monday afternoon, so the mall was not at its busiest, but it had plenty of tenants. Nathan Bush has nearly 400 photographs of this mall taken over a decade!
