Do Spanish people want British home buyers, tourists back?

Do the Spanish people wants British home buyers and tourists back? Last week so incensed to see 40 Brits ( most of whom had successful residencia applications in place or were Spanish residents) landing at Alicante and being barred from entering Spain. Instead put back on the same flight they´d arrived on.
