Riding the new but basic elevator at the Northcross Shoal Creek Office Center in Austin, Texas, and even though this building was built back in the early-mid 1980's, it sure is interesting that this elevator is a new installation add on to the building, rather than a modernization.
Specifications:
General - EMR-Oracle/Holeless Hydraulic.
Performance - 2000 Lbs/20 HP.
Distance - 20 feet/2 floors & 100 FPM.
Year – Installed/2020-2021.
Fixtures – Innovation Universal.
Cab – White suspended ceiling with LED lighting, brushed stainless steel with gray panels & 2" wide brushed stainless steel handrail, mesquite laminate floor, brushed stainless fronts/car doors, & cream lobby doors/jambs.
Type of early-mid 1980's elevator format (if original to building):
Otis = Standard holeless hydraulic elevator with LRV controller, and either New Lexan or Series-1.
Dover = Cimarron holeless elevator with either Solid State or DMC controller, and either Traditional or Impulse fixtures.
Montgomery = HH series holeless elevator with Miprom controller and either later G&P square fixtures, A-series, EPCO Circle-Line, EPCO Flush-Line, or early Innovation Universal.
Westinghouse = Standard hydraulic elevator with relay logic controller and AE fixtures with either Adams Survivor or EPCO Circle-Line buttons and Dinner Bell Lantern.
ESCO = Holeless hydraulic elevator with GAL relay logic controller and GAL Jet-Plus or CJ Anderson HHR/AN10 fixtures.
US = Holeless hydraulic elevator with Standard Round Button fixtures and arrow lanterns.
Original cab design = White suspended ceiling with T12 fluorescent lighting, brushed stainless steel walls with oak panels & 2" diameter brushed stainless steel handrail, black vinyl tile floor, and brushed stainless steel fronts/car doors/lobby doors/jambs.
