beyond Amsterdam: discovering Dutch island life on Texel 🦭

We spent a night on Texel, one of the Wadden Islands in the Netherlands, and had such a fun little getaway. We visited a sheep farm and a cheese farm, explored De Koog, walked along the beach and through the dunes, and even spotted a few hares along the way. The next day we rented e-bikes and cycled across the island to the lighthouse near De Cocksdorp. One of the highlights was a seal-watching boat tour, where we saw dozens of seals! We then cycled around the island and stopped in Oudeschild. It was such a nice weekend trip full of beaches, dunes, cycling, animals, and lots of nature.
