This easy chocolate cherry cake is rich, moist, chocolatey and packed with juicy cherries 🍒🍫 A simple homemade dessert that is perfect with a cup of coffee or tea! In this video, I’m making a delicious chocolate cherry cake using simple ingredients. You can use either fresh or frozen cherries, making this recipe perfect any time of the year. Ingredients: 150 g soft butter 3 eggs 3 tbsp cocoa powder About 220 g flour 300 g cherries, fresh or frozen Sugar Instructions: Mash the soft butter with sugar using a fork. Add the eggs and mix well. Add cocoa powder and combine. Add the cherries and mix gently. Add the flour and mix until you get a soft, not-too-thick batter. Transfer the batter to a greased baking pan. A 24 cm pan is ideal, but a 26 cm pan works too. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C / 350°F for about 40 minutes. Baking time may vary depending on your oven.
