Your ballot arrived this week — and Wenatchee School Board President Tucker Jackson has something to say before November 3rd. Tucker is a Wenatchee parent with two students heading to Wenatchee High School soon. He is also quick to point out that WHS was built in 1972 — older than he is — a fact his 4-year-old nephew Quinn recently commented on with some brutal honesty. In all seriousness, Tucker walks through what three years of community planning, research, engineering, and design work actually produced — and what Wenatchee voters will decide on November 3rd. Here is what you need to know: 🏫 Three years of community work — parents, neighbors, community leaders, engineers, and architects all contributed to the plans now on the ballot 🗳️ The board has unanimously adopted a resolution supporting placing the measure on the November 3rd ballot 🌡️ If approved by voters, the bond would rebuild most of Wenatchee High School, renovate the rest, and replace aging HVAC systems at seven schools across the district 👥 Over 5,000 students and 700 staff would see improved air quality and learning environments 📬 Your ballot is here — postmark it by November 3rd or drop it at a secure ballot drop box Get the full picture at wenatcheeschools.org/bond — where the district has been collecting and answering community questions throughout this entire process. Whatever you decide — vote by November 3rd. 📚 wenatcheeschools.org/bond
