LungMap's LungChat

To meet the growing needs of the lung research community, the NHLBI LungMAP research consortia developed LungChat, an intuitive conversational multi-agent framework for integrated multi-omic reasoning and biomedical discovery (chat.lungmap.net). LungChat automates and interprets comparison of developmental and disease signatures (single-cell), cellular communication networks (spatial), literature synthesis and drug repositioning (iLINCS). The NHLBI LungMAP Consortium serves as a central hub for integrative, multi-omic analysis and knowledge of the human lung, spanning normal development, health, and disease at cellular and spatial resolution. LungMAP hosts an ecosystem of interactive analysis tools for single-cell annotation, functional enrichment, epigenomics, metabolomics, spatial transcriptomics and high content imaging, from over 60 studies, 10 technologies and thousands of samples. The Salomonis Lab develops broadly reusable bioinformatics workflows and algorithms to inform gene and splicing regulatory networks in diverse diseases. Their work focuses on approaches to exploit cutting-edge multi-omic techniques, deep learning and machine learning. Their group aims democratize use of these tools through agentic and easy-to-use online platforms, provided through LungMAP and other broad atlas scale research initiatives.
