Pet distilleries? What’s this? Well, those that we’re haplessly attracted to. Inexplicably, they have carved a soft spot in our hearts and sensory systems and, like moths to a flame, we seem to be drawn to them. Fashion, fame and zeitgeist be damned - these are our personal little hidden pleasures. Maybe you think you’re immune to this? To which I say pah! You know you have them. I know you have them. Have a look at your whisky shelf; that’ll betray the truth. Consider this a curious confessional. I think I have six, maybe seven - or eightish - ‘Pet Distilleries’. Based on my experiences with them so far, I’m a sucker for any bottle bearing their name. There could be nine actually… I’ll share mine this week. Bring along yours. We’d love to welcome you there.
