OBEY THE WILL | Westminster Shorter Catechism Q39–41 | Theo Rey Music What does God require of man? The Westminster Shorter Catechism turns our attention to God’s holy law and the duty He requires of His creatures. We were not created to live for ourselves, but to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. God has given us His Word as the rule to direct us how we may glorify and enjoy Him. His moral law is summarized in the Ten Commandments, revealing His righteous standard and our responsibility before Him. This is more than outward obedience. God’s law exposes our sin and reminds us of our need for the grace and righteousness found in Jesus Christ alone. We cannot earn salvation through law-keeping; we look to Christ, who fulfilled the law perfectly on behalf of His people. 🎧 THE WESTMINSTER SHORTER CATECHISM PROJECT This series from Theo Rey Music puts historic Reformed theology into Scripture-grounded Christian rap, working through the Westminster Shorter Catechism question by question. 📖 WESTMINSTER SHORTER CATECHISM Q39.
