An Exuberant English Garden & Historic House in Autumn 🌿 Great Dixter | 4K Natural Sounds

Come with me for a walk around this Historic garden in September, when the garden is at its wildest and most exuberant. The planting is completely overflowing at this time of year, with the flagstone paths through the Garden sometimes almost disappearing into the abundance of flowers and foliage. From there I wander around the house, taking in the beautifully arranged containers and the shade border, before heading out into the back meadow where the autumn crocus are flowering. Then it’s on to the famous Border, which is looking incredible at its September peak, before making my way back through the Peacock Garden to the front of the house. There are plenty of close-up views along the way, including dahlias, zinnias, autumn crocus, Japanese anemones, asters and salvias. The garden is full of life too, with bees and hummingbird hawk moths enjoying the flowers. As always, there is no music or narration in this video, just the natural sounds of the garden. Birdsong, bees buzzing, footsteps on the gravel and flagstones, the breeze and all the little sounds you hear while walking around the garden. Filmed in 4K.
