Glenridding is a village located at the southern end of Ullswater, in the English Lake District. The village is popular with mountain walkers who can scale England's third highest mountain, Helvellyn, and many other challenging peaks from here. The village has ample accommodation including two Youth Hostels and good camping sites. There is also a tourist information centre, Ullswater Information Centre. Glenridding is in the civil parish of Patterdale. This video features views in and around Glenridding including the Ullswater Steamer 'Lady Wakefield' on Lake Ullswater, the hills and mountains around Glenridding, the stream which runs through Glenridding into Lake Ullswater, the traditional stone architecture of Glenridding buildings, hotels, a golf course, and an attention-seeking tractor driver who kept getting in front of where I was filming, boats and a wind-blown lake surface.
