Watch my whole Morning Run playlist here:    • Morning Run   This morning I stood on the start line of the TCS Sydney Marathon and ran further than I ever have in my life. For a long time, 42.2 kilometres felt like something other people did. Then the training started getting real. First the long runs. Then the first 30K. Then race week. Then Sunday. Official finish time: 3:41:32. What I didn’t see coming was how many records would fall inside the same race. I set new all-time bests at 15K, 10 miles, 20K, the half marathon, 30K, and the marathon. The half came down by over 6 minutes. The 30K came down by 15 minutes. Distances I had never even raced before today became personal bests on the way to the finish. The first half felt controlled. The middle asked questions. The last 12 kilometres were the part no training run fully prepares you for. That’s where a first marathon becomes real. That’s where you find out what the early mornings were actually for. This wasn’t a perfect race. It was an honest one. Hills. Crowds. Aid stations. Electrolytes. The moment you realise there is still a long way to go, and the moment you realise you can keep going anyway. I came here to finish my first marathon. I left as a marathoner, with a time I’m proud of and a list of PBs I didn’t expect to rewrite in a single morning. This video is the full day. The quiet before the start. The kilometres that clicked. The ones that hurt. And the finish line I’d been training toward for years. If you’re in the middle of marathon training, standing on the edge of your first 42.2K, or just love seeing someone go further than they’ve ever gone — this one’s for you. 📲 Follow the training on Strava Search: Spiro Psiroukis 👍 Like if this one hit 🔔 Subscribe for the next chapter 💬 Comment below — first marathon, tenth marathon, or still building toward one?
